How Our Pricing Works
We price by the job, not by the hour. After diagnosis, your technician gives you a written price for the complete repair, including parts and labor. Nothing is started until you approve it, and the price does not change because a job takes longer than expected.
- Diagnostics are free with the repair. If you decide not to repair, you pay only the diagnostic fee shown above.
- Minimum labor fee. Each category has a minimum labor fee that applies only if you choose to go ahead.
- Parts at clear prices. Parts are listed on the estimate so you can see what you are paying for.
- No surprise trip charges for customers inside our service area.
What Affects the Price of a Repair
- The failed part. A capacitor or igniter costs far less than a compressor or control board.
- Access. Equipment in attics, on roofs or built into cabinetry takes more time and care.
- Scope. Some jobs need two or three technicians, and work above 3½ feet is priced with a height coefficient, as noted above.
- Refrigerant and special-order parts on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
