Mitsubishi Ductless HVAC System Installation in Orlando, Florida

Mitsubishi ductless systems are among the most common mini-splits we install in Orlando. Homeowners choose them for additions, garage conversions, bonus rooms, sunrooms and older homes where running new ductwork is difficult. Their inverter-driven compressors adjust output to the load, which keeps rooms comfortable and helps control Florida humidity.

Single-zone systems pair one outdoor unit with one indoor unit. Multi-zone systems connect two or more indoor units to one outdoor unit, each with its own temperature control.

1. Load calculation to size each zone correctly. Oversizing leads to short cycling and poor humidity control.
2. Placement of indoor and outdoor units for good airflow, drainage and service access.
3. Line set and drain run through a small opening in the wall, with a condensate drain or pump.
4. Electrical – a dedicated circuit and outdoor disconnect.
5. Evacuation and start-up – vacuum testing the lines, releasing refrigerant, and testing heating and cooling.
6. Controls – handheld remote, wall controller or Kumo Cloud Wi-Fi app for smartphone control.
