Heater Carrier Repair in Orlando, Florida

An Orlando customer called because their Carrier heating system had stopped working. When they tried to turn it on, it either did nothing or started for three to four seconds and then shut down.

A heater that starts and stops within seconds can have several causes: a dirty flame sensor on a gas furnace, a tripping limit switch, a failing control board or an intermittent electrical connection. Our technician tested the system and found that wires in the unit were disconnecting, interrupting power and control signals so the heater could not complete its start-up sequence.

The technician repaired the wiring, secured the connections and tested the heater through several full cycles. The system started normally and kept running as expected.
